Name the organisation. Post the receipt.

This board exists for the useful half of the joke: food, water, shelter, legal aid, medical aid, and protective equipment bought and used by the people trained to use it.

A good post here:

• Names one organisation and links its public donation page.
• States a concrete need and a number: £4,000 for 600 hot meals on the 14th, not help if you can.
• Says who is accountable for delivery.
• Comes back with a receipt, a photo, an invoice.

A bad post here:

• A personal wallet with a story attached.
• A promise of returns.
• Anything that puts a private person at risk.

If you are the organisation, say so and post your registration or fiscal sponsor. If you are not, do not speak for them.

The fund pays directly. There is no middleman to skim, which also means there is no middleman to blame when a receipt is missing.
